Strasbourge Cottage

The outside space was good, and it would be nice to return in the summer Positive: It was comfortable, and the location was very good. Negative: It was cold while we were there, and the main heating was an electric bar/fan heater.

Cute and comfy stay in central Martinborough Positive: Gorgeous spacious 2 bedroom (3 bed) cottage with everything you could need for a stay in Martinborough. Literally a couple of minutes walk to the town square, it was cute, private, and equipped with plenty in terms of cooking meals. Instructions were clear and we had no issues at all. We were there in winter and while it could get chilly outside, the heating supplied was enough to keep us comfortable. Negative: If you're there in winter and a cold-climate noob like me, be VERY cautious on the little low deck that wraps around the cottage if you need to go outside before about 9am. Water collects in the grooves in the boards, and then ices over in the early morning temperature drop and becomes super slippery.

Positive: Very handy location to the centre of town. Walking distance to the Town Hall and cafe's. Negative: Could have 2 more towels.

Cosy cottage for couples Positive: Great position, and property managers helpful. Negative: Unfortunately, bedding was set up for a couple, not 2 single women, and the second room was not fully made up...we made do...

Positive: Fantastic location close to the square and restaurants/bars, good heating and comfortable. Everything you need for a nice weekend getaway. Negative: Couldn't make the TV work properly to change channels or connect to Netflix. Not sure if the remote didn't work or needed batteries. Also there are bikes to use at the property but plan ahead to bring a bike pump or wheel then to the BP service station to pump up the tires.
